Tobapos -- Two airplanes Wednesday crashed into each other at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
The wing tip of United Flight 898 clipped the tail part of American Airlines Flight 2675, which was arriving from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, according to KXAN. The American Airlines plane was stationary when the United aircraft made contact. No injuries were reported.
The United flight was on its way to Houston. All passengers were re-booked on a later flight after a four-hour delay. It took two hours alone for passengers to be allowed to de-plane.
"The pilot took full responsibility," United passenger Cody Strickland told KEYE. "He said 'This is your captain, we just clipped the wing of this other aircraft. It was my fault, we're going to do the best we can to get you back to the gate." (sumber/adm)
